The project focused on designing a mobile platform that inspires wellness journeys through expert-based guidance and community engagement. The client aimed to combine two worlds (nutrition and sport) into a single, coherent experience within the digital space.

PROJECT SCOPE

To ensure project success, we aligned every stage from early discovery to final delivery. The process covered the following scope of work:

• Discovery. User research, behavioral insights, market and competitor analysis, stakeholder interviews, product vision alignment, feature prioritization.

• Brand strategy. Positioning framework, mission and values definition, tone of voice, messaging architecture, visual identity system, differentiation strategy.

• UI/UX design. Information architecture, interaction patterns, usability testing, accessibility principles, design system creation, high-fidelity prototyping.

• Art direction. Visual mood boards, color and typography system, photography and illustration style, motion language, cross-platform consistency guidelines.

Early validation and meticulous design refinements helped us create a product that’s engaging, easy to use, and makes every interaction feel natural.

COMPETITIVE EDGE

Unlike other fitness and wellness apps that only prioritize metrics (calories burnt, miles run,  grams of carbs consumed), we aimed to create something more human and emotionally resonant.

Our discovery findings revealed that most fitness and wellness apps offer rigid performance tracking or generic motivational content that deliver limited value. Instead, we focused on building a concept centered on personal feel, connection, and shared growth.

We aimed at shaping the app’s emotional tone and brand culture as supportive, inclusive, and human-centered.

Color cues to convey vitality and optimism across user groups (neon greens and vibrant contrasts)

Personalized experience based on the user’s fitness journey stage

Tone shift from performance-heavy language to creating a sense of belonging instead of pressure

User experience centered around community dynamics (collective challenges, progress checks, tips sharing,  community news feed and recognitions exchange)

This way, the app was built to serve not just as another tool for tracking meals and workouts, but a daily space for reflection, motivation, and connection.

DESIGN CHECK

Design aimed to keep the app’s rhythm lively and engaging, achieved through:

Micro-interactions (animated progress cues, notification motions, smooth navigation transitions)

Convenient use across devices

The right color contrast ratios

Full compliance with WCAG standards

TECHNOLOGY CHECK

We evaluated the tech stack for performance, maintainability, and integration potential, choosing frameworks and libraries that ensured low latency, efficient memory usage, cross-platform consistency, and robust data sync.

Early prototyping to validate API behavior, data flow, and edge-case handling

Framework alignment for native mobile frameworks, minimal load times and energy efficiency ensured.

Stress-tested for expansion (incl. future wearable integrations, AI-powered recs, social challenge modules)

Design–dev synchronization, pixel and motion parity maintained between Figma and production code.
